Have you ever heard a big dog bark and a tiny mouse squeak — which one sounds higher? Sounds go high and low all around you, from a fire truck's siren to a rumbling tummy! A piano makes its lowest sounds on the left side and its highest sounds on the right side. When you finish, try humming as high as you can, then as low as you can, and feel the difference.
