Dear Friend: How to Write a Letter

Imagine you found a sealed envelope on your doorstep with your name on it. Inside is a folded piece of paper covered in handwriting. Before you even read a word, what do you expect to see on that paper? Think about letters or cards you have received. What did they look like? Where did the writer's name appear? Where did yours?
