The Five Parts of a Letter

A letter is a written message sent from one person to another. Letters follow a clear — a set of parts that always appear in the same order. This makes them easy to read and reply to. **Part 1 — The Address and Date** At the top right of the page, you write your address (where you live) and the date you are writing.
