A flag is a colourful cloth with a pattern. Every country has its own special flag. The flag shows you belong to that country. Flags fly high on tall poles!

The UK flag is called the Union Jack. It has red, white and blue colours. It has a red cross and white cross together. The flag is very special to British people.
