Amazing Pyramids!

Look at the picture. It is a huge stone triangle. It touches the sky! Have you ever seen a building that big?

A pyramid is a big stone building. It has four flat sides. The sides meet at a point on top. Pyramids are in a hot, sandy country called Egypt. People built them a very, very long time ago — about 4,500 years ago! Workers stacked huge stones on top of each other. The biggest pyramid is called the Great Pyramid. It is as tall as a very tall tower.
