Think of your favourite toy. Hold it in your mind. Did children long ago play too?

Long ago, children played with toys too. Old toys were made from wood, cloth, or clay. Children rolled wooden hoops along the ground. They played with rag dolls made from cloth. Some children had clay marbles. These toys had no batteries. Today, many toys are made from plastic. Some toys light up or make sounds. Old toys and new toys are both fun!
