Flat or 3D?

Flat or 3D?

Pick up a plain sheet of paper. Right now it is flat — it only has two dimensions: length and width. But what if you could make it stand up, curl, or stick out towards you? That is the challenge paper sculptors love! Before we begin, think about this: a drawing stays flat on the page, but a sculpture fills space around it. Paper sculptors use the same cheap material you use every day and turn it into something that leaps off the surface.
