Match outfits to seasons.
What are seasons?
We have four seasons each year. They are spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The weather is different in each season. We wear different clothes to stay comfortable.
Hot weather clothes
Summer is hot and sunny. We wear light, cool clothes. T-shirts and shorts keep us cool. A sun hat protects our head. Sandals let our feet breathe.
Cold weather clothes
Winter is cold and sometimes snowy. We wear warm, thick clothes. A coat keeps our body warm. A scarf wraps around our neck. Gloves keep our hands warm. Boots keep our feet dry.
Spring and autumn clothes
Spring and autumn are in between. Sometimes warm, sometimes cool. We might wear a light jacket. Long sleeves help when it is breezy. We can add or take off layers.

1. It is snowing outside. What should you wear?
- Snow means it is very cold.
- Cold weather needs warm clothes.
- A thick coat, gloves, and boots are best.
2. It is a hot, sunny day. What should you wear?
- Hot and sunny means summer weather.
- We need cool clothes to stay comfortable.
- Shorts, a T-shirt, and sandals are perfect.
3. It is a cool, windy day in autumn. What helps?
- Autumn can be cool but not freezing.
- A light jacket stops the wind.
- Long sleeves keep arms a bit warmer.
